An opportunity for artists to exhibit their work - no matter what their background alongside established artists and designers.
When and Where is the exhibition.
There are 2 exhibitions included in the price for The next 100sqft, one in New Orleans and One in London. The first will be on 23rd of October in New Orleans as part of the Arts After Dark Exhibition, a week long exhibition showcasing the best of UK and New Orleans artist's work. We will then be returning for a homecoming Launch Party at the end of November @ the
Chomley Boys Club, 68 Boleyn Road, London N16 8JG, giving a chance for the participating artsists from the UK and those interested in meeting them to get together at one of Dalstons undiscovered gems - The deadline for submitted digital images will be extended to 1st October with Original artwork to be submitted to us no later than the 1st October 2010- but... it's best to get them in early so that we can promote your work.
We are inviting everyone to join us for the launch evening to meet up for a drink and enjoy the entertainment laid on by resident DJ's 'Our Friends Eclectic' - if you would like to attend and be kept in touch of proceedings please add your name to our mailing list (link at the top right) so we can contact you about tickets.

Whats the concept.
100 pieces of art each 1 foot square to be exhibited in a 10x10 grid at a fantastic space in New Orleans with a returning show of the same work in North London. The 100 sq ft show in New Orleans will be part of the inaugural Arts After Dark exhibition, led by ArtEgg New Orleans Artistic Director, Adriana Fabin, and co-curated by Carne Griffiths of 100sqft. Arts After Dark will feature the work of the following 12 Artists; Dan Baldwin, Dave Greber, Carne Griffiths, Colin Hampden-White, Viorel Hodre, Steve Martin, George McClements, Valorie Polmer, Rob Reed, Shruti Thaker and Thomas Williams.
The 100sqft layout will be displayed on the website - you simply book a square pay the 50 pound entry fee and send a 1000 pixel square image of your work by email - as soon as we receive the image we put it on the website. This means if you want to you can react to other artists work by placing your work alongside. Then when all squares are booked we take all the original pieces of work and display them in a gallery. We'll also be producing a supporting catalogue showcasing the work of all artists involved.
What size can my work be.
All submitted work must be 1ft square (or roughly 30cm) and although it can be 3 dimensional the depth must be no more than 2 inches. The artwork can be on any ground and in any medium. There will be a grid constructed to hold work for the exhibition so your work must be 1ft square and not irregular in shape or it will not fit. If your artwork is on paper we ask you to mount it on foam board before sending to us. We cannot exhibit any artwork that falls outside of these specifications.

- We provide a printed catalogue for sale featuring your work
- All printed promotion will contain your artwork
- We hold a great Return launch party at the Cholmeley boys club to celebrate the opening of the London Exhibition.
How much does it cost
Entry is £50.00, and includes the New Orleans and London exhibitions. It also includes Entry to the Launch, Your work for sale online on our website, the exhibitions and publicity, and printed flyers for you to mail out.

Terms and conditions,
Acceptance of artwork is at the discretion of the organisers. By submitting an application to exhibit your work you agree to deliver to the gallery in time for the exhibition and notify the organisers if you are unable to do so. Refunds cannot be given under any circumstances so please make sure you read all entry requirements before submitting your entry.
Work must be delivered by post and can be returned only if full return postage and packaging is supplied. Although the organisers will take great care with all submitted work we cannot be held responsible for damage that may occur to the work during the exhibition period, if you are concerned please insure your own work as the launch is at a pop up venue and cover cannot be provided.
